According to customs statistics, China's cosmetic packaging exports grew about 12% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, continuing the growth momentum of the past five years. Pump heads, bottles, and tubes contributed the main increment, with demand from emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America proving particularly strong.

As the world's largest production base for cosmetic pumps, China's pump industry boasts a complete supply chain covering mold design, injection molding, surface finishing, and assembly & testing. With rapid sampling and flexible customization capabilities, Chinese manufacturers can meet the diverse needs of international brands and distributors with shorter lead times and more competitive costs.

Notably, Chinese pump manufacturers are shifting from pure OEM production toward integrated "design + manufacturing" services. A growing number of companies are establishing overseas service teams and warehouses, and some are even launching their own branded products in collaboration with international design firms, significantly accelerating their global expansion.

Industry analysts believe that with the continued dividends of free trade agreements such as RCEP and deeper development of Belt and Road markets, China's cosmetic packaging exports still have ample room for growth. Meanwhile, increasing R&D investment in recyclable and biodegradable materials will be key for Chinese pump makers to consolidate their share of the international market amid stricter overseas environmental requirements.
